Fall in Florida… is just the “Summer with Pumpkins”
While the weather may not feel much different from summer today, the autumnal equinox marks the official start of the fall season. And while Florida may not experience the same dramatic change in seasons as other parts of the country, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the fall season in the Sunshine State.
Here are a few ideas:
Visit a pumpkin patch. There are pumpkin patches all over Florida where you can pick your own pumpkins, enjoy hayrides, and other fall activities.
Go to a fall festival. There are also many fall festivals held throughout Florida, where you can find food, drinks, music, and other family-friendly fun.
Take a walk in the park. The weather is perfect for a walk in the park in the fall. Enjoy the changing leaves and the crisp air.
Go to a football game. College football season is in full swing in the fall, so head to a game at your local university or stadium.
Have a barbecue. What better way to enjoy the fall weather than with a barbecue? Invite your friends and family over for a cookout and enjoy the outdoors.
Even though Florida may not have a traditional fall season, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the autumn months.
So, get out there and have some fun! No matter what you choose to do, you’re sure to have a wonderful time chasing pumpkins!
